The piggyback terminal that I tried to get into the back of the instrument light switch was I just too big so I ended up turning the new white wire round, with the original white instrument light wire actually piggybacked onto the Terminal 58b. The new flasher relay replaced the old one. Making up the wires and connectors was OK but it was a bit tight to get everything in place from the frunk. I drilled out a large washer to stop the switch disappearing back through the hole and painted it with lacquer. VW dashboard warning lights are your cars way of communicating with you.You know that when the gas indicator light illuminates, your car is hungry for fuel. Yellow warning lights mean that action is. Red warning lights mean you should stop the car as soon as its safe. I has seen some solutions using various kits but they looked a bit too added-on to me. Volkswagen warning lights are colour coded. What with the less than stellar drum brakes and a desire to be a bit more visible if I should break down in the dark. With a bit of help and advice (see this thread) I now have working hazard warning lights.
